You'll Never See the Perfect Body Until You Change Your Perspective

Chasing the ‘Perfect Body’? Think again!

Have you ever looked in the mirror and felt like your body just isn’t enough? Like no matter how much you train, how well you eat, or how hard you try, there’s always something to fix? I used to feel the same—until I realized something. The ‘perfect body’ we chase? It doesn’t exist. It’s angles, lighting, posing—a carefully curated illusion. We compare our worst angles to someone else’s best and wonder why we don’t measure up. But here’s the truth: even the people you admire have moments they wouldn’t post. I stopped obsessing over bad angles and started focusing on the good. And you know what? Everything changed.

This blog is for all of you who work out hard, eat right, recover properly, and still feel like it’s not enough.

You will never see the perfect body in the mirror until you change your perspective and realize that perfect is subjective—it doesn’t actually exist. Even if you see someone on Instagram with the body you dream of, chances are, it’s just a good angle. Nobody looks good from every angle. But we don’t just look at ourselves from our best angles—we also seek out our worst ones. Maybe it’s self-sabotage, convincing ourselves we’re not as good as the woman with a million followers. But in reality, we’re all human. We all have our good sides and our bad ones. Nobody posts their worst moments—we only see their best.

The Power of Clothing and Angles

The right fit changes everything

Also, clothing. The right fit makes a huge difference. Some body types look better in high-waisted cuts, while others shine in mid or low-rise. It’s all about enhancing what you already have. For me, high-waist scrunch leggings changed everything—I feel confident, my curves look amazing, and honestly, I walk around the gym like I own the place. And colors? Some open you up, while others drown you out. Finding your colors is like unlocking a secret level of confidence. But we will talk about the power of clothing in detail another time.

Angles can trick you

Let me tell you, I also have angles where my glutes look completely flat, my waist is nonexistent, and my hair is a mess. But that’s just an angle. And no, I’m not posting it on Instagram. I choose to focus on the ones that make me feel confident and beautiful—because in the end, those are also me, right? And if before, I used to obsess over the bad angles, trying to fix them, now I focus on the good. Because no matter how hard I train or how clean I eat, I’ll always be able to find angles I don’t like—either by comparing them to my best ones or to someone else’s best ones.

The ‘I Looked Better Before’ Trap

Looking back isn’t always the truth

A small test of what I just said: I recently looked at old pictures of myself, and for a moment, I felt sad. Wow, I was so beautiful a year ago. But then my friend said, Of course, you were! You took those pictures from your best angle, in a nice outfit, with makeup and good lighting. You look the same now. And she was right. I checked my recent photos—I do look the same. It makes sense. I love taking pictures of myself when I look good. I wouldn’t take a photo after coming home from a windy day, exhausted, with no makeup and messy hair. What would I even do with those pictures? On days like that, no photoshoots—maybe just one for the memory, but that’s it. And that’s exactly how we start curating our own perfect gallery. The messy days? They fade away because there’s no picture to remind us.

Why Not Focus on the Good?

Confidence comes from what you choose to see

But honestly, why shouldn’t it be that way? There’s nothing wrong with viewing yourself as good-looking and being slightly delulu that you look like that all the time, as long as you keep improving. In the end, it’s all about confidence and feeling good in your own skin, right? It doesn’t matter what others think—we focus on the good, and aspire for even better.

Posing is a Skill- And You Can Learn It

Finding your best angles takes practice

Another thing—I love posing. And the more photos you take, the better you get at it. You start learning your best angles, lighting, and what works for you. I look back at some of my first Tenxie pictures and think, What was I doing with that pose? But after more photoshoots, everything flows easier. So if you think you don’t have good angles, it’s just because you haven’t found them yet. And you know—practice makes perfect.

The Social Media Comparison Game

We compare ourselves to people at their best

That’s the same trap social media sets. We compare ourselves to others at their best, yet even on our worst/normal days, we can’t compete with our own best moments. And that’s not even factoring in genetics, bone structure, fat distribution, muscle shape, or Photoshop.

Admire, don’t compare

So again, comparing yourself to that perfect influencer with a million followers is pointless. Yes, she might look amazing in real life too, but don’t underestimate her experience with content creation. She knows how to present herself in the best way possible. And there’s nothing wrong with that—we can admire without letting it make us insecure, okay?
